I’m a founder, operator, investor, and U.S. Navy veteran, and for more than twenty five years I’ve had the privilege of building companies at the intersection of ecommerce, payments, and digital marketing. My career started back in the early days of the internet on Microsoft’s original web design team at Sidewalk.com, and from there I went on to found and help build a number of businesses, several of which were eventually acquired.

If all these years have taught me anything, it’s that there is always more to learn. Lord knows I’m still learning, and every now and then the lesson shows up with a little more sting than expected. But in its own way, that has been part of the gift. The wins have been rewarding, the setbacks have kept me humble, and the failures have often taught me more than the easy seasons ever could.

What matters most to me, though, has never been business alone. My wife Cathy and I are incredibly proud of our two kids, Mike and Jackie, and of the fine young adults they have become. More than any professional milestone, being their parents is the role we care most about, and one we try to approach with love, intention, and a real desire to be the best parents we can possibly be.

Above all, our faith in the good Lord has been the foundation. It has carried us through the highs and steadied us through the lows. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m grateful for the life, the lessons, and the people God has entrusted to me, and I try every day to keep growing into the man, husband, father, and leader I’m meant to be.
